Here in St. Mary's we understand each individual has different needs and thats why our care service is tailored to meet the individual needs of each resident. The home offers person centered care in a warm friendly, homely and peaceful atmosphere.
All 18 rooms have single beds with 11 of our rooms being ensuite. All rooms are pleasantly decorated and furnished, the residents are encouraged to bring their own furniture and belongings to familiarize their surroundings and make them feel at home. .
An emergency call system operates from all bedrooms and other public rooms. A passenger lift and stair lifts are available for those with poor mobility.
We understand the importance of a balanced, nutritional diet, but also making mealtimes a social and enjoyable occasion to enjoy our home-cooked meals. Private dining in bedrooms is also a option for residents. Our Cooks are always readily available to discuss menu suggestions and cater for special dietary requirements.
St.Mary's believe that social and leisure aspects of life are integral parts of care. We encourage maximum independence and choice and ensure that our comprehensive activities programme meet the changing needs,likes and wishes of our residents.
We have strong links within the community, Where we often attend local coffee mornings and other activies. We have great family values and encourage family and friends to visit on a regular basis.
Our warm and comfortable lounge where our residents can relax, watch TV or enjoy a film. this is one of our locations where we host our social events.
Relax in the tranquillity of our garden room. The perfect place to read a book, listen to music or just sit back and take in the beautiful surroundings.
